U.S. Trust and Bank of America’s Private Bank Group merged, and commissioned P2 to design a new office space to accommodate the new business group, in approx. 18,000 sq. ft. The client wanted the customer interface areas to be reminiscent of a “living room” – so the challenge was to accomplish this, while maintaining a sophisticated and professional look. In addition, the client wanted to feature an original Dale Chihuly glass sculpture and incorporate their art collection, of predominantly Northwest artists. Through custom architectural elements, finishes/materials, furniture, lighting and custom casework, the design team was able to accomplish these goals. P2 worked closely with the client and the general contractor, Swinerton Builders, to successfully complete this high-end design project in a very short time frame, dictated by a lease termination. Full design services were provided for this project, including construction administration and move coordination.
